Eric Benét Jordan, widely known as Eric Benét, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on October 15, 1966, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States.
Eric Benét started his music career in the late 1980s with his sister as part of a band called "Benét." In the early 1990s, he signed a solo deal with Warner Bros. Records and released his debut album, "True to Myself," in 1996.
His breakthrough came with his second album, "A Day in the Life," in 1999, which produced the hit singles "Georgy Porgy," "Spend My Life With You," and "When You Think of Me." The album was nominated for a Grammy Award and solidified Eric Benét's status as an R&B superstar.
